Lower level (nicely finished basement) with one bedroom, one living room, private bathroom. Rental includes one stall in a detached locked garage and patio space next to garage. Laundry and kitchen are shared with homeowner (I need occasional access to use the laundry downstairs, and renter is welcome to use the kitchen upstairs). All utilities and extras included with rent. Unit requires renter to have a bank account capable of electronic transfer of monthly rental payments. Request 12-month commitment, but will begin with month-to-month. Location of home is two blocks from Hopkins Main Street, walk to coffee shops, grocery store, library, two microbreweries, and more. 22-minute drive to downtown Minneapolis. Renter is required to have a clean criminal history. Background check required, paid for by renter. I have two friendly dogs, so do not want any additional pets in the house. We live in a tobacco-free, gun-free, drug-free home. Social drinking OK, but no intoxication in front of my children. My home is a welcoming space. I prefer a quieter renter. I ask for honesty and directness in communication to address problems and issues.
