Naval Station Norfolk, the world’s largest naval station, is located on Sewell’s Point, a peninsula on the north end of Norfolk. Covering four miles of waterfront and an additional seven miles consisting of piers and wharfs, Norfolk Naval Station contains 75 ships and 134 aircraft. The United States Fleet Forces Command is stationed on the base.
