Because the house is around a wooded area, there are small bugs and spiders that enter the unit occasionally. I have cleaned up the whole house area of brush, regraded the driveway to divert water, and a professional exterminator sprays around the building and outside each window twice a year to mitigate any insects. But I have been unable to completely eliminate the issue. Noise from upstairs and adjacent unit is mild but noticeable. During renovations I payed for a couple of noise dampening systems/products but they didn't work as sound proof as I had hoped.
