Affordable housing! We are Grand Rapids Alliance of Cooperative Communities. We have 48 units over three properties in the Heritage Hill district of Downtown Grand Rapids. Each of our properties is a community with established guidelines and regulations the house abides by, decided upon by each house's decisions. All of our members receive an equal say and vote upon all matters within the house. House meetings occur at least once a month where members gather to discuss house roles and ideas for working together as well as coordinating events and celebrations. Each of the houses is significant in size and have ample space inside the structure and expansive yards for anything that members choose to use the spaces for. Each applicant must attend a house meeting and be voted into the house by the membership. Our organization is committed to building our community, within the organization and without, and are seeking likeminded individuals that we can synergize with.
