Calvin College, named for the 16th century French theologian and Protestant reformer John Calvin, is a private liberal arts college in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is affiliated with the Christian Reformed Church and was founded in 1876. The college enrolls about 4,000 students and has roughly 70 student organizations. The college also hosts a biennial Festival of Faith and Music event.
