H3C is located on historic Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard in New Orleans and the name H3C combines Health with the corridors long-standing principles of Commerce, Culture and Community. H3C was developed by Gulf Coast Housing Partnership (GCHP) and Alembic Community Development. It is a GCHP Health + Housing community. Health + Housing aims to improve residents' overall health with buildings constructed to FitWel Building Standards and convenient access to healthcare services. Belle Reve at H3C, named for New Orleans-based non-profit Belle Reve, has 92 one- and two-bedroom units reserved for residents aged 55 or older and the Belle Reve Center. The Belle Reve Center will provide residents with supportive services and programs to meet their current and future needs, with a particular focus on engaging with seniors and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
