The Park Forest/LA North neighborhood is located in far northeastern Baton Rouge, Louisiana, near Monticello. This large, primarily residential community is bound by Airline Highway/U.S. Highway 61/U.S. Highway 190 on the west, Greenwell Springs Road/State Highway 37 on the north, and Florida Boulevard/U.S. Highway 190 on the south. It is part of East Baton Rouge County, in the 70814 zip code area.
Several amenities can be found within Park Forest/LA North neighborhood bounds. For outdoor recreation, there is the North Sherwood Forest Park, Duchess Drive Park, Waddill Wildlife Refuge, and Flannery Road Park. Among the attractions offered at the latter are tennis courts, lighted baseball/softball diamonds, soccer fields, a recreation center, a playground, and picnic facilities.

The Park Forest/LA North neighborhood is just minutes from downtown Baton Rouge and hosts a variety of attractions. Among these are the Howell Park Golf Course and Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport. Higher education options within ten minutes of Park Forest/LA North include Southern University – Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge Community College, Louisiana State University, and A&M College – Baton Rouge, among others.
