Colony Park Neighborhood

The community of Colony Park, located within the small, historic town of Zephyrhills, is a small, established suburban neighborhood that offers the irresistible charm of country living. Defined by sprawling ranch houses with equally generous properties and driveways, Colony Park is a quiet neighborhood with a sense of community. Families can gather for a barbecue or play an informal game of football on a quiet street. Rentals, including new construction, condominiums and apartments, are close by.

The neighborhood is pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly. Residents and visitors of Colony Park are close to the amenities offered within the town of Zephyrhills. A trip to the big city is not necessary when shopping, restaurants and personal services are within walking distance.

Thoroughfares and freeways are conveniently located west of Colony Park, and the neighborhood is served by the PCPT, Pasco County’s public transportation system. The attractions and tourist destinations of Tampa are fewer than 20 miles from the core of Zephyrhills. Other means of travel in and out of Tampa can be found at the Tampa International Airport and the local Amtrak station.

Colony Park is part of the Pasco County School District, and many of their students top the math and reading tests in the Florida state school system.

Anglers can fish for bass and catfish at nearby Lake Bernadette. The Links of Lake Bernadette is a semi-private golf course with lush scenery, a clubhouse and restaurant. Surrounded by homes, the lake and golf course are considered hidden suburban gems.

Sky Dive City is close to Colony Park, and attracts sky divers from around the globe. Whether looking for sky diving classes or a tandem trip attached to an instructor, sky divers of every skill level will find an adventure here. Spectators are welcome at the Thanksgiving and Christmas Sky Dive Boogie events.
