Gulfview Neighborhood

Gulfview is a scenic community in the Tampa Bay Area of Largo, Florida. Located in zip code 33774, Gulfview has a population of approximately 100 residents. It is bordered to the north by 113th Avenue North, and it is bordered to the south by Pinecrest Drive. Smaller, local streets serve as its eastern and western borders.

Gulf View is a great place for environmentalists and those who are ecologically conscious to call home. Its pedestrian-friendly sidewalks welcome dog walkers, joggers and families throughout the day. The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority provides public transportation throughout the neighborhood and its surrounding areas in Pinellas County. It even has connecting buses that allow residents to easily access Tampa and all of its attractions.

The John R. Bonner Nature Park is within walking distance to the north. This picturesque park features picnic facilities, a playground, nature paths and a covered pavilion. The Waisingham Park is a short drive to the north, and it offers its namesake lake, Waisingham Lake, as well as opportunities for boating, hiking, picnicking and wildlife observation. The Fred E. Marquis Pinellas Trail, Kolb Park, and Ridgecrest Park are also nearby.

Gulfview is a family-friendly community that is located near many highly-regarded and favorably-reviewed schools. Children can attend Anona Elementary School, Oakhurst Elementary School, Westside Christian School or Country Day School. Junior high school students can attend Safety Harbor Middle School, Indian Rocks Christian School, Saint Patrick School or Keswick Christian School. Older students can attend Clearwater High School, Largo High School, Osceola High School or Pinellas Park High School.
