Locals must communicate with the host before booking. The space up to the bedroom is a hidden bookcase, and you must turn to the side to get through the 14-inch opening. Due to being on an island with a tropical climate, there are tropical insects, amphibians, and fish. The space is treated regularly for pests; however, you may come across palmetto bugs, wood roaches, American roaches, Ceratopogonidae (no-seams), mosquitos, and termites. The property is located very close to the water, and snakes such as water moccasins are seen on occasion, especially near rocks. Swimming in the bay carries a risk of encountering a variety of aquatic species that can cause harm, so swim at your own risk. If any sign or smell of smoke is encountered, a $500 smoke damage cleaning fee will be charged. Pets are not allowed.
