While the space is regularly treated for pests, encounters with palmetto bugs, wood roaches, mosquitos, and other creatures are possible, especially during storms. Snakes such as water moccasins may be seen near rocks. Swimming in the bay carries risks due to various aquatic species. Guests are advised to be aware of their surroundings. Check-in time is 4 PM or after. Guests are asked to notify the host of their expected arrival time at least 6 hours in advance. Check-out time is 10 AM.
