Georgetowne is located in the city of Daytona Beach, FL. This neighborhood is bordered by State Highway 400, Interstate 95 and U.S. Highway 1. The Georgetowne area is filled with mature palm trees, lush tropical flowers and well-manicured lawns.
Just to the west of Georgetowne is the P.G.A. golf course, The Club at Pelican Bay. This extremely challenging golf course has been used in many P.G.A. Golf tournaments throughout the years. This is a members-only golf course with several amenities for its members. The club house has a full size pro shop, a restaurant for lunch and dinner, and a large banquet hall for weddings and large gatherings.
A few minutes to the east of Georgetowne is the world famous Daytona Beach. This beach has been one of the country’s most famous beaches since the 1950s. During the fourth of July this beach will see hundreds of thousands of people each year. Daytona Beach is known for its white sand beach, beautiful views of the ocean, and its sunbathers. During the summer Daytona Beach is host to an annual event called Bike Week. Each year during bike week motorcycles from all over the country come to Daytona to show off their motorcycles and take in all the trade shows.
