Hello, we are homeowners of a cute, quaint, 3 story townhome on the edge of the Villa Park Neighborhood with quick and easy access to public transit, parks, and downtown. A 5 minute drive away from Sloan's Lake, one block away from the Villa Park trail with a 5 minute walk to Joseph P Martinez Park, 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride to the Perry Station Light Rail in Villa Park. We are looking for a renter to fill the basement of our townhome that would include one bed + office/den and personal bath. First floor has a 1/2 bath, living room, and kitchen would be shared space. My partner and I would only be in the basement for use of the laundry and to access in anything out of the basement closet space.
About Us:
30yr old Landscape Architect and a 29yr old Special Education teacher. We have a 5yr old chihuahua/corgi mix named Poppy, a red footed tortoise, and a leopard gecko. When we are not working we are both active individuals and enjoy hiking, traveling, checking out local breweries, but also like to stay in and play a board game with friends from time to time. We are tidy individuals and prefer to keep a fairly clean home in shared spaces, aka no dishes in the sink! Our preference is no other animals, but we are open to an individual who has a dog. The dog must be an acceptable breed through our HOA, and have a meet and greet with our own dog prior to acceptance to any agreements.
About You:
This space would be ideal for an individual who is in a work from home situation or would prefer an additional space they can use as their own, who is also in their 20s/ early 30s, are fairly active, and are tidy in common/ shared spaces.
