Your private room can come fully furnished with a queen bed, dresser, and closet — or unfurnished if you prefer to make it your own. Either way, you’ll have everything you need to feel right at home. The Location Walking distance to all downtown Santa Cruz — incredible restaurants, shops, and a warm, vibrant community right outside your door. What’s Included $2,000/month with a refundable security deposit of $2,000. Monthly utilities, professional cleaning, household supplies are $250. Minimum stay 3 months, up to one year. I’m so glad you’re considering this space. I want this to feel like a true home base during your assignment, and these guidelines are here to help us both feel comfortable and respected. Quiet Hours Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Because we have a downstairs neighbor, I ask that during these hours we keep foot traffic light and avoid using the laundry machines. I totally understand that shift work means irregular schedules — just keeping things calm during these hours helps everyone in the building rest well. Guests & Visitors Day visitors are welcome! Please just give me a heads-up when you’re expecting someone. This is my primary residence, so overnight guests are not permitted. I appreciate your understanding in keeping our shared home peaceful and low-traffic. Resident Pets Our home is shared with two beloved residents — Boba Fett, a dachshund, and Joon Michael, a tuxedo cat! They’re friendly and part of the household. I ask that you be comfortable and at ease around both dogs and cats. Out of respect for our shared space, no additional pets please. Kitchen & Shared Spaces The kitchen is fully shared and I’d love for you to feel at home using it! I just ask that we each clean up after ourselves promptly, label our food in the fridge, and treat shared spaces (living room, bathrooms) with care and tidiness. What’s Included Your rent and utilities includes a monthly professional cleaning service for the home along with internet, water, heat, and green waste. Parking One designated parking spot is included. Please use only that space and let me know if you have additional vehicles so we can work something out. There is a guest pass that is available for use if you have a friend visiting. Alcohol-Free & Smoke-Free Home This is an alcohol-free and smoke-free home — that includes cigarettes, vaping, and cannabis. This applies inside and on the property. Thank you for honoring this as part of our shared living agreement. Shoes This property is shoeless at the request of the property owners. It also creates a cleaner environment for us to live in together.
