Oxnard Shores Neighborhood

Oxnard Shores is a neighborhood in Oxnard, California in the 93035 zip code. This is a beach community. The ocean front location guarantees its popularity, making this a very desirable area to live. The borders of the neighborhood are the Pacific Ocean on the west, West Channel Island Boulevard on the south, Harbor Boulevard on the east, and West 5th Street on the north. This is an upscale residential neighborhood that includes single family detached homes as well as condominium communities. Harbor Boulevard is lined with palm trees and there are sidewalks to enjoy the area. It is located west of downtown Oxnard.

Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Hotel and Resort is located within the Oxnard Shores neighborhood. For people who can’t afford to live in the area, this is the next best thing.

Oxnard Beach Park is a green area adjacent to the beach. It has open spaces and has a picnic area, volleyball courts, playground, and paths for skating and jogging. The park is handicapped accessible and also pet friendly.

Mandalay County Park is located just to the north of this neighborhood. It is an undeveloped area of 94 acres that allows all residents of the county to have access to the beach and the ocean. There is parking available at a cost, but entrance to the park is free.

Oxnard Shores Park is 62 acres and includes a playground, volleyball, picnic areas, and shelters and restrooms. There is off-street parking available.

West Channel Islands Boulevard provides residents with some shopping opportunities. There is a Ralph’s grocery store, a Rite Aid Pharmacy, Carl’s Jr, Big Lots, Dollar Tree, and Starbucks.
