Hello, I am renting a top-floor apartment in the small apartment building behind my house. It is around the corner from Grove Park; four blocks north of the Ashby BART station; four blocks west of the Berkeley Bowl; and 10 blocks south of downtown Berkeley. The living room and kitchen get great morning sun. There is a laundry room with bicycle storage. The building is off the street, so there is minimal street noise. There are nice hardwood floors in the living room and bedrooms. There are newer double-pane windows and all exterior walls are insulated. There is a gas stove. I pay for water and garbage. There is ample street parking without a permit. Off-street parking is available for $50 per month. The security deposit is the same as the monthly rent. The photos show, in order, the exterior, living room (2 pics), kitchen (3 pics), one bedroom, other bedroom, and bathroom. One year lease. Sorry, no smoking or dogs. Cats require an additional $200 deposit. I am available to show the apartment almost any time, but it is best to come by before it gets dark. Feel free to email me with questions.
