A Spanish Colonial home with solar panels and energy efficient windows and doors throughout. The house is part of a "walled villa" community called Shalimar, which is a bike ride away from the ASU campus and reachable via the free Orbit bus system, which passes by our house. We're also a short walk away from nearby Selleh Park. A beautiful sun-lit atrium lies at the center of the house, which has a pool up front and a backyard (plus hammock) shaded with citrus trees. There are four bedrooms, one of which is currently used as an office, but could be converted back in to a bedroom if need be. Two bedrooms are outfitted for children, but, again, we're glad to make adjustments if children's beds/furniture isn't required. Built-in bookshelves in the front room, a newly renovated open-design kitchen, and vaulted ceilings in the living room. It's a gorgeous house with lots of space that also manages to feel cozy (and to stay cool in the hotter months!) Close to a strong public Montessori elementary school and walking distance to a middle school with the acclaimed ASPIRE program. The high school is just down the road and is known for its Peggy Payne Academy and band/orchestra. Email for photos of interior and/or a Zoom tour.
