A quick walk from Whole Foods, QFC, Amazon Go, downtown, and the Pike/Pine corridor. This northeast facing corner apartment feels like a treehouse with its massive windows looking out on mature London Plane trees that provide shade, privacy, and lots of bird watching. With the square footage of many 2 bedrooms you enjoy extra space in the open living area (great for a home office) and a large bedroom with plenty of room for a king size bed. Uniquely situated within the building, this apartment is located on the first floor so you'll never have to take the elevator but because the building is located on a slight hill you'll sit high above street level overlooking the always entertaining First Hill Park (watch all the cute dogs playing in the park from your living room). As you can see from the photos, plants go crazy for this light filled space. Radiant heated parquet wood floors keep the apartment cozy in the colder months and the orientation of the unit keeps things cool all summer. There are also two new window air conditioning units for those occasional hot Seattle summer days. The windows have recently been fitted with custom insulated bottom up blinds as well as custom curtains through the apartment. The spacious light filled open layout of the living area is ideal for setting up a home office or two. Enjoy plenty of storage space in the entry foyer, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom as well as your own storage unit located one floor down. Also located a short stairway away is a newly updated laundry room with industrial grade washers and dryers operated by credit/debit card or coins. We love being able to get two loads of laundry done at once! Helpful onsite building management is available for mail, deliveries, and any problems you may run into with the apartment. Secured Access key fob entry and the front door call box rings directly to your phone. Each floor has a handy garbage chute so that you don't have to take your trash down to the basement. The building is strictly adhering to the state order requiring face coverings in indoor public spaces in order to keep residents safe.
