Tucked in the trees on 40 acres of forest, this rustic-yet-cozy retreat offers the perfect balance of comfort and simplicity. This property includes three unique units across two cabins. One standalone cabin sleeps 2 in a queen bed, and the second cabin has two studio units with a queen bed and a double pull-out couch each. Each unit has a kitchen, full-shower bathroom, and smart TV. Onsite washer and dryer are available in each cabin. Enjoy the fire pit, hammock, and fresh mountain air for relaxation. Downtown Mount Vernon, with its historic streets, boutique shops, and local dining, is about 10–15 minutes away. The Lincoln Theatre, city parks and trails like Little Mountain Park, Kiwanis Park, Hillcrest Park, and Riverwalk Plaza, and Skagit Station are also about 10–15 minutes away. Explore the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in the spring or visit Skagit Valley wineries and hiking trails, which are 15–25 minutes away. This is a wilderness retreat, and wild animals may be present. There is limited electricity for high-power appliances. Internet is available via Starlink, and cell signal varies by carrier. This is a smoke-free, vaping-free, and drug-free environment. If any smoking, vaping, or drugs are detected either within the home or outside on the property, the reservation will be terminated as non-refundable, all guests will be required to vacate the premises immediately, and compensation will be sought for any damages that are found upon inspection of the property. Pets are not allowed in this rental unit, and guests will be responsible for paying for any and all damages caused by their unauthorized pet(s). No parties or events are allowed. If this rule is not followed, then the reservation will be terminated as non-refundable, all guests will be required to vacate the premises immediately, and compensation will be sought for any damages that are found upon inspection of the property. If guests leave the home in a condition that requires a deep cleaning, excessive laundry, or violate any of the house rules, a fine of up to $500 will be charged. Damages to the property or contents will be charged at repair or replacement costs. Any non-compliance with the house rules after an initial violation warning will result in cancellation of the booking and the need for all guests to immediately vacate the property, at the host's discretion.
