After graduating from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in English, she migrated to Loudoun County in 2000. Once she left the corporate world to raise her children, she became more involved in the community by volunteering for the local Little League, serving on the HOA board, and working as a youth basketball official.
