Hey there!
I'm renting out my basement to a male roomate(s). It's a private basement space (1500 sq ft) in a brand new, never lived in before home. The house is in a brand-new subdivision.
The windows in the home allow for great natural light during the day and the place is really quiet, probably because it's in a quiet culdesac. In fact, there is a horse pasture right behind the property which means no backyard neighbors.
You as the renter will have a private bathroom, a private downstairs living room and access to two bedrooms in the basement.
The kitchen is upstairs and will be shared with me when I'm around. The laundry is the same way.
You will have your own personal garage space and the house provides easy access to West Davis Corridor and I93. Also, if you're a nature lover, you'll be only a 5- minute drive from Antelope Island's entrance.
With it being a new place, I will not allow pets on property nor will I allow smoking.
We will split the gas, electric, and internet bill, but I will pay for all other utilities.
Here is what I'm kindly asking for:
Rent: $1600 per month for a month-to-month lease. I will want a $1600 deposit, but know that up to $1000 of deposit is refundable when you move out.
I'm looking for reliable people who mostly just need a place to stay for a while, so I'll need you to pass a credit check.
I’m an airline pilot and won’t be in the shared space all the time, so that's additional privacy for you!
