She holds a BBA from Texas A&M University in management information systems; an MS in accounting from University of Houston Clear Lake; a CPA license; and a Texas Real Estate Broker License. She is an active PTO member and volunteer at her children's schools and supports the American Heart Association, the Gulf Coast Marrow Donor Program, Will Herndon Fund at Beyond Batten Disease Foundation, and several local sports organizations/booster clubs. She is also a member of The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Cochran’s Crossing Village Association Board.
