About the Listing Agent
Ben wasn't born in Austin, but he got here as fast as he could! Born and raised in Dallas, he left his native Texas for a short while for a career in the Navy, but his heart has always stayed right here in the Lone Star State. Ben retired as a Command Master Chief from the United States Navy and is an honorary Admiral of the Texas Navy and a Master Mason. With his 20-plus years of military service and sustained community service, his passion for helping people is endless. Having relocated numerous times throughout his Navy career, he understands the "ups and downs" that come with moving as well as those of finding or leaving their home.
Ben is a family man who is blessed to have his beautiful wife, April, and their four children: Kelsie, Brandon, Landon, and Austyn. He joined Realty Austin and is partnered with his mother-in-law, Gail Huebel, making him the second half of the Gail and Ben Team. Having over three decades of real estate experience, Gail and Ben share the unique ability to assist clients through many different types of real estate transactions while providing personal attention to each client with a humble attitude.
He earned the military outstanding volunteer service medal while in the Navy, and his desire to give back to the community has followed him back to Texas. Additionally, Ben is a lifetime donor of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society and a Master Mason.
