Bristol, TN Houses for Rent

The sign welcoming visitors to Bristol proclaims it “A Good Place to Live.” Since you can stand along State Street in downtown and literally be two places at once, it is definitely a good – and interesting – place to live. Bristol shares its downtown with its twin city of Bristol, Virginia, and State Street runs right along the state line. Bristol is the “Birthplace of Country Music” – it was even recognized as such by Congress in 1998. Tennessee Ernie Ford was born here in 1919 and started as an announcer on a local radio station. He is most famous for his song, “Sixteen Tons.” As the location of some of the first country music recordings, other famous country music singers who started in Bristol include the Carter Family and Jimmie Rodgers – one of the first country music stars. Today, Bristol still has a popular live music scene.

And while Bristol is home to the Bristol Motor Speedway, great theaters and music venues, museums, shops, and restaurants, it is the stunning location that new Bristol apartment renters will fall in love with.
