Located in a desirable area, this property offers proximity to golf courses and beaches, providing a perfect blend of relaxation and recreation. The minimum age to rent this property is 25. Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. and check-out is before 10:00 a.m. Early check-in is available for a fee of $125, plus tax, and must be requested at least 7 days prior to arrival. Late check-out is also available for a fee of $125, plus tax, and must be requested at least 7 days prior to arrival. All properties are non-smoking homes and villas, and a $500.00 fee will be charged for violations of this policy. Some properties are designated "Pet Friendly" with additional fees. If a pet is discovered on a property not designated as pet-friendly, the rental will be terminated immediately, no refund will be given, and there will be a minimum charge of $500 for carpet cleaning and flea control. Houseparties are not permitted. Portable grills are not to be used on porches, balconies, pool decks, or in garages. Guests must use due care during their occupancy, and while accidental damage is forgiven up to $800 if reported immediately, guests are liable for intentional, reckless, or malicious acts, damage by pets, theft, gross negligence, damage under the influence of alcohol or drugs, damage related to vehicle operation, and damages related to smoking. No refunds will be given due to power blackouts or water shortages. Locked closets or rooms within the premises are reserved for owner's storage and are not included in the rental. Long-distance calls will be charged to the owner's telephone and will incur an additional administrative fee of $25. Construction activity may cause noise, and no refunds or discounts will be made for such nuisances. Many properties have elevators, which should only be used for loading and unloading or by the elderly or disabled. Children should not be unsupervised in elevators, and a release must be signed for access. Motorcycles, moped motorized bikes, ATVs, go-carts, motorized scooters, jet skis, campers, trailers, or any other live-in moving vehicle are prohibited in most gated amenity communities. Motor vehicles are not allowed on the beaches. For DeBordieu Colony, guests towing a boat must obtain a temporary boat decal and pay seasonal fees. Golf carts in DeBordieu Colony must be battery/electric powered, and operators must be at least 16 years of age with a valid driver's license and obey all S.C. traffic regulations. Business services such as faxing, photocopying, and wireless internet are available free of charge. Items left in the home can be mailed back for a fee of $15.00, plus the cost of postage. Items not claimed after thirty days are donated to local charity. No repairs, cleaning, washing, or maintenance to any vehicle shall be carried out on the rental property. Do not trespass through private property. Guests may reserve the same home for next year by leaving a deposit during their current stay, prior to check-out. All properties are cleaned and sanitized by professionally trained and equipped housekeeper employees who provide greater attention to detail, enhanced security and personal accountability. Linens and terry are cleaned and sanitized at a commercial laundry facility. Travel insurance is included with every reservation, but guests may opt out. In the event of a mandatory evacuation due to natural disasters, guests must vacate the premises immediately.
