About the Listing Agent

Although selling real estate has changed in many ways since the late 1980's and early 1990's when Connie first sold real estate in the fast-paced Northern Virginia market, there are many essential elements that are the same. At the heart of it, she believes that an agent should treat their clients the way the client wants to be treated.... with honesty, knowledge, and professionalism. She has always felt that if you are going to do a job, do it to the best of your ability. This equates to high quality service and attention to details that leaves no question in the client's mind that their real estate needs are the number one focus for her. This is what she based her real estate business upon. Connie understands that buying or selling your home is a HUGE life event. She would love to be the agent to help you with your real estate needs! What can I bring to the table as your agent? Not only did she earn my bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from George Mason University, which gives her insight into how to promote properties, she has experience in negotiating contracts and assessing market comparable and purchase prices. Connie was also given the opportunities to use her real estate knowledge by working for a property investment group that purchased and renovated distressed homes (Home Flippers way before it was televised.) Researching homes and budgeting/managing remodeling costs daily for this company was a valuable experience in which she gained understanding of the real estate market from another perspective. (It came in very handy when working for a custom home builder in Northern Virginia in later years.) While raising her sons, Connie changed career paths for a while to give back to others by becoming a middle school math teacher. If you have any difficulty with negotiating, problem solving, meeting client needs, overcoming objectives, multi-tasking, time management, and adjusting to situations on the fly, teaching 120-150 middle school students per year will help you master these skills very quickly. (These are key abilities that real estate agents also need.) After her sons reached adulthood, her husband and Connie decided it was time to start living out their dreams in the Lowcountry. She would love the chance to talk with you about how she can help you realize your goals of buying or selling your home.
