A tall, stately building dressed in red bricks stands proudly on the hillside, protecting the remarkable art housed inside. It started out as a grist mill in the 19th century, but today it is a museum that features a large collection of art by the Wyeth family.

The Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation, contained in the park, is a living history museum of life on a pre-Revolutionary farm. There are over 20 properties within the park listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
