The Ark sits on 25-acres with 2 ponds and a small lake. We have an open sky with plenty of night sky viewing available. We are located 12 miles from Sandy on the 26 Hwy heading towards Mt. Hood. We are a small but tight knit community with amazing neighbors. Lots of areas to walk and play with your furry friends and plenty of hiking trails in the hills behind us. The unit offered is a studio with NO KITCHEN. It has a full bath and a bed nook. You are provided with a small refrigerator, microwave and a heater. All utilities and wifi are provided by the owner. For those who work and/or play on the mountain we are 27 miles from Meadows, 15.8 miles from Timberline and 16 miles from Skibowl. Mt Hood Resort/Golfing is 4 miles up the road. We have a Thriftway complex with a gas station and other assorted businesses. Across the street is a laundry mat and post office. Our post office is located across the highway in Brightwood proper. The Sandy Ridge Mtn Bike Park is 1.9 miles away and we are less than a mile from Brightwood Beach. There are several hiking trails in our vicinity as well. Those of you who are into photography will enjoy the beautiful photo opportunities we have especially during the snowy times. So come check us out as we enjoy natures transition from summer to fall.
