Our home is located in the Merion Village neighborhood which is one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in Columbus with the historic and charming German Village only a handful of blocks north. Downtown Columbus, Nationwide Children's Hospital, and the Arena District are all less than 10 minutes away. Because we're so close to downtown, our neighborhood is definitely more urban than suburban. We live close to a firehouse, so we hear the expected sirens here and there during the week. Merion Village is an up-and-coming neighborhood with ongoing revitalization in the area, however, you will see a few houses here and there which appear to be in an older or mid-renovation condition. Our home has the benefit of being in an area where we have very good neighbors who all look out for each other. None of our guests have experienced any sort of criminal activity in and around our home and we have exterior cameras on both sides of the house for additional peace of mind.
