Union University, established in 1823, is a private, Christian university affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention. It is the oldest institution affiliated with the Southern Baptist church and is considered one of the Southern Region’s top tier institutions. The 290-acre campus is located in Jackson, Tennessee and includes more than 40 buildings. The Union Bulldogs participate in NCAA Division II as part of the Gulf South Conference.
