Clark University - Worcester, MA
Clark University began at a graduate university in 1887 and is the oldest institution founded as strictly a graduate university. Located in Worchester, Massachusetts roughly 45 miles west of Boston, Clark University is a private research university and liberal arts college. Today, it also includes 31 undergraduate programs. The campus is located on the western edge of downtown.

The Clark University Cougars participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s Division III and has several sports programs, including basketball, soccer, baseball, and lacrosse. The school has 17 varsity teams.

It is a beautiful city famous for its Victorian-era mill architecture, and it served as a critical munitions depot during the American Revolution.
