Small caged animals are allowed. We do not allow rodents, reptiles, insects, arachnids, potbelly pigs, or rabbits. Accepted pets include domestic cats, fish, birds, and most dogs. Restricted dog breeds include: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Chow Chow, Doberman, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Mastiff, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Shar Pei, Siberian Husky, Tosa Inu, and Wolf hybrids. Service and emotional support animals are exempt from fees with proper documentation.

Heartsease at Ocean Isle Beach is a pet-friendly community—because we know pets are family! We allow up to three pets per cottage with prior written approval and a signed pet agreement.
