The Vernon Building located at 236 S Elm Street is some of the most unique housing in the best part of the Downtown district. The building is situated directly on Elm Street, but the apartment unit faces Washington Street to give you peace and privacy. Built in 1883, it is the oldest remaining building in downtown Greensboro.
