The recently updated kitchen has new appliances and most of the gadgets to cook a stellar meal. The sunroom offers amazing windows with great lake views, a cozy reading chair, and a comfy couch. The basement has a large seating area with a full-size daybed that also doubles as a comfy couch, and a nook with a desk and bunk beds. The island is connected to the main property by a wooden bridge and features a large patio area with outdoor furniture, Adirondack chairs, a fire pit, and a large dining table. Highland Lakes is a private community on a series of man-made lakes on top of a mountain. There is a sense of community and nature here, with an abundance of wildlife. Sound carries over water, so please be ultra-quiet after 10 pm if you’re outside, as the community association gives out fines which will be forwarded to you.
