3902 Connecticut has two bedroom units in a four-family apartment on a beautiful tree-lined street in the Tower Grove South neighborhood of St. Louis. These apartments are just three blocks from Tower Grove Park and just a few blocks from the eclectic variety of shops and restaurants both on South Grand Boulevard and on Morganford. It is great for a single, couple or 2 co-renters. It's probably too snug for 3 people. Two sets of tenants are SLU Med students so if you are a party animal, this place is not for you bc they need their quiet study time. Close to SLU and convenient to Wash U. Each unit consists of two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and dining area and bath. The kitchen includes a gas range, range hood, frost-free refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal, pantry, and lots of cabinets. There are hardwood floors throughout, a decorative fireplace with mantel, large double-paned windows with mini-blinds, art glass windows, at least three ceiling fans with lights, two closets, with additional storage available in the basement. Upstairs units have a private porch; main floor apartments share a porch. The tiled bath has lots of lighting, a vanity, and cabinet storage. Free washers and dryers for shared use by the tenants are available and there are hook-ups if you have your own appliances (electric dryer). (Right now, we have 4 sets of washers/dryers so each apartment is assigned a set!) Virtually all systems were new at rehab: circuit breaker electric, plumbing, gas forced air furnaces, central air, roof, and insulated windows. Off street parking, one space per unit, is available in the back yard which is complemented by shadow box cedar fencing and landscaping. Dusk to dawn lighting is used both in the exterior and interior common areas; entrance to the building is restricted for security. There are rear storm doors with screens. Neutered cat is OK; no dogs. No smoking indoors. Owner pays the sewer, water and trash bills, a savings to you of about $80 per month. The Tower Grove South neighborhood has easy access to highways I-64/Highway 40, I-44, I-55, and to downtown St. Louis. This apartment is two miles from the St. Louis University Medical School campus, 3 miles from the main SLU campus, and twelve minutes away from the Washington University-Barnes Hospital complex. The Grand Avenue bus line is a direct connection to Metrolink & the airport. The Missouri Botanical Garden, cultural activities such as the Symphony and live theater, sports venues such as the Enterprise Center, Busch Stadium, Citypark and The Dome are just minutes away. Tower Grove Park has a tennis club, jogging & biking paths, and picnic areas. The owners resided in this neighborhood nearly 40 years and are well-known in this community as taking pride to maintain this neighborhood as a wonderful place to live.
