There is a small private rocky beach right on Lake Superior that is excellent for agate hunting with a well-built sturdy staircase that makes descending to the lake a breeze. Inside the cabin you'll find tons of windows with blinds, a beautiful gas fireplace, a bedroom with a large cedar built-in, double-wide storage closet, and a lovely all-season sunroom where you can sit and relax. The kitchen and bathroom have lovely slate floors as well. The cabin is well-divided into cozy nooks, with lots of built-in bookshelves for the avid reader. The cabin interior has recently been re-painted in bright white, Scandinavian-inspired paints that highlight the natural cedar accents and natural-wood built-ins found around the entire cabin. Please note that the current pictures still show the previous wall colors. The bathroom comes complete with a shower that's easy to step into. Because of the 100' cliff being so close, and the fireplace being exposed (which is the main source of heat for the cabin, so it will be hot enough to burn skin if touched during months requiring heat), the cabin is not recommended for young children, and the renter assumes all liability for themselves, their children, and any guests who may occupy or visit the cabin. This is a guest home and is located next to the owner's personal home. While you will have a dedicated yard & 2 driveway parking spaces, the remainder of the owner's property, including the private beach front, the forest, and the fireplace will be shared with the owner who lives at the property full-time. **NO SMOKING anywhere on the property (both inside and outside)** Details: - Available Immediately - Rent: $2650/mo, including the following utilities: Gas, electric, water/septic, trash/recycling, lawn mowing, & driveway snow removal - Security Deposit: $2650 - 12 Month Lease - Pets will only be allowed on a case-by-case basis for an additional $300 security deposit and $50 monthly fee (small dogs considered only). - Includes electric range & oven, fridge, and microwave - No Sub-Leasing/Short-Term Rentals/Time Shares/etc. - Some furnishings available if desired.
