Families will like Flandrau State Park on New Ulm’s west side with their hiking/skiing paths (birding, too!) and outdoor pool, but may also enjoy two city parks with swimming pools, as well as a splash pad and the new bike path. A BMX track, skate park, and frisbee golf course offer entertainment too. There's even a paintball park outside of New Ulm. Winter brings ice-fishing, sledding, and skating in both outdoor and indoor ice rinks.
