The city of Howard Lake is a growing community on the western edge of the Twin Cities metro area. Our location places us close to the Twin Cities for a quick commute, or far enough from the Twin Cities to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Howard Lake has many parks that offer a variety of amenities including sand volleyball, fishing piers, tennis and basketball courts and picnic areas. Plus, there are a lot of other great nature areas and trails to take in nature and enjoy the outdoors.
Howard Lake Apartments participates in an affordable housing program. Qualified residents will pay rent based on adjusted income. Household income limits and student status limitations apply. Rent is based on 30% adjusted annual gross income (before any deductions) earned from all sources including: wages, public assistance, pensions, annuities, interest income, dividends, stocks, bonds, insurance settlements, recurring gifts from family/friends, lottery winnings, etc. Third party verification will be required of all income and copies of tax returns and pay stubs may be required.
There are also some market rate units available that do not have the above requirements.
