Corpus Christi Naval Air Station, TX

Built in 1941, the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station was first proposed in the 1930s. It is situated roughly six miles southeast of downtown Corpus Christi. It currently serves as the headquarters for the Naval Air Training Command, which trains student Naval Aviators, Naval Aircrew, Naval Flight Officers, and other aircraft personnel.

Located on the coast in south Texas, Corpus Christie is home to the fifth largest US port and is one of the busiest cities in Texas.
