Situated on the south end of Enid, Oklahoma, Vance Air Force Base trains world-class pilots for the US Air Force, Marines, Navy, and several allied nations. The base was established in 1941 and is home to the 71st Flying Training Wing, part of the Air Education and Training Command. It is a decorated wing with a long history of service.
