Dating back to 1849, Eatons Neck Coast Guard Station is the oldest in New York and the fourth oldest in the US. The Eatons Neck Lighthouse, first lit in 1798, is the second oldest lighthouse on Long Island and one of the nation’s oldest. It is situated along the northern edge of Eatons Neck in Long Island, New York. The lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is still in operation.
