Income Guidelines: All applicants must income qualify through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program (LIHTC). To income qualify, an applicant's combined household annual gross income & assets* calculation must not exceed the maximum 60% AMI as listed below under "Maximum Gross Income Requirements" based on the number of occupants included in the household. These maximums incomes & assets guidelines are set under the LIHTC "Affordable Housing Program" from Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA). The maximum income guidelines are based on the average median income (AMI) for Wayne County. To qualify, residents gross income must fall between the minimum and maximum income guidelines (see chart below).
