Anticipated availability date: November 1, 2025 Send an email to me and I will send a link for a 3-minute video of the apartment. Fully-furnished, beautiful, like-new, clean, modern, one bedroom/one bath, condo/apartment in Grosvenor Park I. The entire unit was renovated in August 2024. Practically the only original item is the bathtub - and even that's been reglazed. I also replaced the two HVAC units. I (the owner) have lived here since the renovation and kept it very clean and in tip-top shape, so it's like/practically new. Perfect for a newly-separated/divorced person or someone who is moving into the DC area for only a year or two (or three) and doesn't want to buy furniture and things ... because you can move right in - just bring your clothes and toothbrush. The rent is $2,599 per month. Water, gas, and electricity are included in the rent. All furniture is provided as a courtesy (on loan). Please see details, below. Plenty of free, outdoor parking. Nice fitness center. Big, outdoor pool. Free outdoor propane grill area. Party room, library. Bike storage room. 7-minute walk to Grosvenor Metro Station. 4-minute walk to Grosvenor Market (grocery store). Address is 10201 Grosvenor Place, Rockville, MD 20852 ... it's the second high-rise building (on the right) from Grosvenor Lane and the fourth high-rise building (on the left) from Tuckerman Lane. The unit is 8 stories above ground. (You can see NIH and downtown Bethesda from the windows ... it's great view!) Verizon/Fios Internet/Cable TV (and your cell phone) is additional. I'm paying about $175 per month for Verizon/Fios Internet/Cable TV but I don't have any Premium channels. The unit includes: * One bedroom with walk-in closet * Bathroom with awe-inspiring tiled bath/shower * One main, large living room * Table-spaced kitchen * Foyer area with coat closet and storage closet I think the size of the apartment is somewhere around 750 sq ft. NO in-unit washer/dryer ... ample washers/dryers are in a shared/community area in the lowest level ... clean, bright, safe, and reasonably-priced ... but shared. All like-new furniture, fixtures and appliances ... * kitchen appliances (refrigerator, gas range, microwave, dishwasher), new cabinets, floors, doors and knobs, deep kitchen sink * new bathroom everything (and a great shower head!) * new carpet and new window blinds * King-sized bed (with electric, adjustable base!), dresser, and night stands * Queen-sleeper couch and coffee table * Beautiful, big-screen TV (120Hz refresh rate) and modern-looking buffet with storage * Perfectly-sized, modern, kitchen table and two chairs * Kitchen dishes, silverware, glasses, coffee maker, air fryer, toaster oven, pans, kitchen utensils ... all like-new All furniture and accessories are provided as a courtesy (on loan) and are not included in the monthly rent. I am not requiring a security deposit on the furniture. I expect you to treat everything with respect. To be clear, I continue to own all of the furniture and non-attached furniture including but not limited to glassware, silverware, TV, bed, dressers, coffee table. All of those items must remain in the apartment after you vacate. From a cost and legal perspective, I will pay only for Montgomery County "code" items like plumbing, major appliances, and electricity but not for "non-code" items like furniture (bed, couch, buffet, kitchen items, or the TV) and minor appliances. But everything is in like-new condition. If the minor appliances break, I will not replace them. I expect reasonable wear and tear on the furniture and non-attached furniture. But you will have to pay for all damages resulting from negligence. If the shower head breaks, I will replace it only with a basic shower head. I am not providing bed linens, pillows, towels, or a vacuum cleaner. I think the building charges something like $300 as a move-in fee. I think there's a charge for a entry fob. You'll have to arrange with them. (Their office is in the lobby.) The common laundry (on the 1st floor) has an easy-to-use phone app and the washer/dryer costs are very reasonable. No pets allowed. No smoking or vaping of any kind in the unit or anywhere on the Grosvenor grounds. Fabulous location: 7-minute walk to Grosvenor/Strathmore Metro and the Strathmore 2-minute drive to the Beltway (at Route 355), 4-minute drive to Old Georgetown Road, 5 minutes from (what used to be) White Flint, 6 minutes from Westfield Montgomery Mall, barely a 10-minute drive to downtown Bethesda. I ride my bike up/down to Rockville and Bethesda ... the Bethesda Trolley Trail ... Rock Creek Park ... the bike lane on Old Georgetown Road. Reply via email, please, and then I'll call you (or will reply via return email). Please understand that if/when we meet, I will need a picture of your driver's license before we go to the apartment. After the tour, when we separate, I will delete the picture. If you're interested in the apartment and decide to fill out a rental application, you must pass a background check and pay for and pass a credit report. Upon signing the lease, I require a security deposit equal to one month's rent ($2,599) and payment for the credit report ($45). If you are approved, then you'll pay the first month's rent ($2,599) when we meet for me to give the keys to you when you move in. I spent a lot of money on the renovation and ask that you respect the property. Thank you for your interest and I look forward to hearing from you.
