The neighborhood is quiet & pleasant, but close to everything in town, and to I-10. All appliances including microwave and washer/dryer in the apartment. Great for a grad student or traveling nurse, there is also a storage unit on property available for the "extras" you may have(+$30) There is a back yard to sit out in, under the fig trees.
