My name is Alorea Gilyot. I started working at the age of 5 in my grandparents’ snoball stand on South Robertson Street in uptown New Orleans. I assisted in my first in real estate transaction when I found a house for a coworker in 1993. It was then that I decided to begin my real estate career. I began as a part time agent while continuing to teach in the New Orleans Public School system.
