In 1806 Elias Beauregard set out to establish Baton Rouge’s second neighborhood. What he created was a masterfully designed neighborhood with diagonal streets radiating from a central plaza, named for the prominent European rulers; Napoleon, Maximillian, Somerulos, Grandpre, Ferdinand, and Louis. Today, Beauregard Town is a well preserved jewel, harboring the city’s last remaining architectural examples of 19th and early 20th century. The Elias attempts to connect the old world with modern conveniences by a meticulously designed exterior and spacious floor plans featuring warm yet contemporary finishes. Residents can choose balcony units, that have expansive views of Beauregard Town, or ground level apartments with private patios.
