The Fleming Building is an 11-story historic property commonly referred to as Iowa's first Skyscraper! Designed and built in 1909 by the world-renowned architect Daniel Burnham, who also designed the Flat Iron Building in Manhattan and Union Station in Washington D.C., The Fleming is located in the Central Business District in downtown Des Moines at 604 Walnut.
