All to reassure you that this home is well-kept and so will you be! Unlike homes with absentee landlords, if an issue arises with the home, it will be taken care of promptly. Quarterly pest control is in place as well. Just in case one of those pesky palmetto bugs would dare to venture in! LOL. When you stay in the Studio apartment you are not just living IN Savannah...you are LIVING SAVANNAH! Built in 1870, the home the studio sits atop was built within the borders of the original colony of Savannah established in 1763. This is the coveted "Landmark" District. Eg: the Downtown Historic District that draws thousands yearly to Savannah. And, since cars weren't invented by 1763, it's no surprise you can walk to all you want to see from your porch front steps. Essentially, a stroll within 30 minutes or less takes you to all the cafes, restaurants, museums, tours, parks, squares, and destinations you want to be downtown. And that includes the SCAD buildings in this district and the bus lines to those SCAD buildings in the outer environs of Savannah. For those unfamiliar with SCAD...it's a campus-less art college. Still, despite tons of students heading to classes and such as well as tourists, you'll find yourself living in a the quiet southeast residential quadrant of Downtown. Enjoy waking to birds and scampering squirrels as the bars and nightlife...are in the 20-30 min walk window! LOL. But just 10 min or less takes you to Cafes, Shops, Restaurants, Museums and Theaters. Whitfield Square is a block and 1/2 to the west. Forsyth and its famous fountain is 5 blocks south. River St is 10 blocks north. And there's a park across the street on E.
