The Lerman Team started with a dream, a glass of wine, and a big vision and today, that dream has grown into a thriving real estate business built on connection, care, and results.
Laura Lerman’s path to real estate was anything but ordinary. In her twenties, she felt the pull toward real estate but didn’t know where it would lead. By 28, she found herself at a crossroads newly divorced, a mother of two, and starting over with no formal education, a brand-new business, and just $38 in her bank account. With the support of her mother and a fierce determination to build a better life, Laura put her head down and got to work.
For years, she ran a business outside of real estate, learning how to serve people, solve problems, and hustle with heart. But the desire to step into real estate never left. In 2015, Laura made the leap, earned her license, and never looked back.
She founded The Lerman Team with one goal in mind: to guide people through one of life’s biggest decisions with kindness, clarity, and a deep commitment to their success. From day one, Laura poured herself into learning, growing, and connecting—with clients, col-leagues, and her community. She quickly became known not just as a top-producing agent, but as a trusted coach and mentor to others in the industry.
In 2021, Laura made the bold decision to move her business to eXp Realty, a model that aligned with her values and allowed her to scale her impact. Since then, The Lerman Team has continued to expand its reach and offerings while staying grounded in what matters most: relationships and results.
Laura specializes in working with buyers, sellers, luxury clients, relocations, and families navigating transitions including staging, renovations, and probate. A North Atlanta local since 1987, she brings deep neighborhood knowledge and a personal touch to every inter-action.
Beyond traditional real estate, Laura has also stepped into real estate investing with her husband Craig. In 2021, they purchased their first rental property and has since grown their portfolio including 20 acres in South Louisiana that connect her back to her roots. Their long-term vision? A portfolio of 1,500 doors and a lasting legacy for her family.
She also co-founded Lerman Holdings, a probate support company that helps families manage estates with ease and compassion. Together with trusted partners, she and Craig offer a full-circle solution: handling personal property, prepping homes for sale, and guid-ing families through every step of the process.
When she’s not working, Laura is probably traveling with Craig to see the kids do something they love, walking her beloved Doberman Mazi, or dancing in the kitchen. With only one child still at home, she and Craig are embracing the season of almost-empty nesting and soaking up time with her kids whenever they can.
