Hird Island offers the privacy and peacefulness many are looking for at a fraction of the cost! This cabin is located on the interior of the island and only a short walk from the community dock and airstrip. Looking towards the East it has views of Sapelo Island and Doboy Sound. The cabin was recently renovated and has beautiful heart pine flooring on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Plenty of room with a loft bedroom on the 3rd floor, open kitchen and dining on the main level (2nd floor) and a full bath, bedroom and laundry on the ground floor. Only a 5-mile boat ride to the pristine beaches of Sapelo Island, the ICW and Doboy Sound. Accessible ONLY by boat or plane (community airstrip), Hird Island offers a unique Coastal Georgia living experience. Only about 40 homes total on the Island, most are 2nd homes.
