Nearby restaurants, juice bars, coffee shops, a couple of tourist-friendly bars, a brewery, an old-fashioned walk-up ice cream shop, you won't go hungry. While you're out and about, take a walk to the local antique stores, boutiques, and day spas. Be sure to reserve an afternoon to walk to picturesque Crescent Lake Park, where picnic tables dot the landscape, and a paved walking trail encircles the entire small lake. You'll want to bring your camera and snap some pictures. Perhaps bring some raw peanuts for the squirrels - they might even take them from your hand. It is also rumored that there is buried treasure somewhere around the lake. Eclectic downtown St. Petersburg is just a few blocks away, a mile walk to St. Pete Pier. The famous St. Pete Beach is a 15 minute drive away. Just around the block is Cresent Lake Park, 54 Acres of wildlife. Perfect place for a beautiful morning jog or play some pickle ball. Catch a Bucs game at Raymond James Stadium - about 40 minutes, or a Tampa Bay Rays game at Tropicana Field, only about 5 minutes. Tampa Int'l Airport is a straight shot, about 25 minutes, and a visit to world-renowned Clearwater Beach is about 35-40 minutes. Feeling energetic and adventurous? Rent bicycles, electric scooters and three-wheeled slingshot electric cars for the day. Get splashy in rented paddleboats, catamarans, kayaks and standup paddleboards in the turquoise waters. Outfitters are just a search away, and there are some amazing places to explore for some truly unique experiences. DeSoto State Park, Weedon Island, the Salvador Dali Museum, the Chihuly collection, Sunken Gardens botanic park, The Vinoy area of downtown St. Pete, Egmont Key Wildlife Preserve (only reachable by boat or ferry), John's Pass at Madeira Beach, Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary at Indian Rocks Beach, or simply take a thrilling drive over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
